I know it's more expensive but why not get them ceramic-coated?  I had my 
RV8 headers done last year and it was only $170 CDN. I'm getting another one 
done for my '74 "B".  If the cars (and the coating) last as long as I hope 
they do, the price will be worth it.

Just a thought.
