Well Paul, I don't think it was changed recently ... Unless 6 months (or
so) is recently. I think it has been the same system since inception.
It's my understanding that it is Mark's attempt to make us all think
about what we are doing. The point is to post your reply with enough of
the original message as is necessary to make the reader understand what
you are replying too. No "sniping" no list ...
Maybe I'm mistaken, any comments anyone?

Has that changed recently? I though the original purpose of the trailer
was that if it was present in the reply only the new text was sent to
the list and not all the preceeding parts of the thread.
