I have a Rover 3.5 (69) which I just rebuilt. During the rebuild I was
surprised to discover that this motor was not manufactured using valve guide
seals. I put the engine together and now I am having a lot of oil exit the
tail pipes. This oil has to be coming through the valve guides and then
blown out the exhaust ports. My question is 'has any one with a Rover 3.5
experienced this problem' and 'what type of valve guide seals did you use to
correct the problem'
