NIEL,
I can't help you tune them, but I would say that if you are near RPI, give
em a call and make an appointment to get it looked and and set-up correctly.
If you paid for thier tuning service, I am sure they will be very interested
in making sure your are satisfied with the results. Everything I have heard
about them has been positive and they would want to know if you are unhappy
so they can correct the situation...
On another note, I have seen a buick215 that ran much like you described
(lumpy), that was solved by using a 390cfm carb rather than the 500. I had
heard the 500 was best all around from everyone previous to this one, but
his car now runs fantastic, and just goes to show that sometimes a different
approach is the best solution...
