Now that I have decided to remove the crank driven fan and go with
electrics, this brings a new question to mind. In the newer MGB's there is a
coolant temperature transmitter which slips through a rubber grommet into
the top of the rad. Do I need to have one of these inserted into my new 63
Ford Falcon rad, or can I use the existing thermostat connection on my Rover
3.5 to connect to a on/off relay for the fan?
