I did the trial and error method. Attached is a picture of the area that I
made adjustments to. I don't believe this picture was the final form but
will give you an idea. The motor mounts also need to as low as possible to
keep the transmission low.

With regards to my 74 1/2 MGB/Rover 3.5/Camero T5 tranny/MGB conversion. I
have beaten up the transmission tunnel so that the front tranny seam is on a
higher plane than the next structural member. Which is the one where the
radio structural support is directly above. The question I have is how much
does the seam have to be beaten up to fit the T5?
