Many of you know I am running a Buick 215, Borg Warner T-5 and an MGB rear end.
After "pushing" things a bit, I noticed a clunk in the rear end. Silly me I
thought it might be
suspension related, well after checking all the rear suspension and finding
nothing, I pulled the
inspection cover off the rear end. Guess what, one of the spider gears is
missing a tooth.
Just wondering ... the common thought is the MGB rear end is strong enough for
the 215. I know
anything can break at any time, so I thought I'd get the collective opinion of
this list. Do you
think this will be a re-occurring problem, or just a "fluke"?
