| Just wanted to say thanks to John, Greg, Michael, Frank, and Murray for either offering advice on the carb problem, or recommending that I keep the current SO (for those who asked, it stands for significant other). The problem was indeed the fuel filter. Barely getting a trickle out of it. Car is running better now. The unexplained but very serious vibration I was experiencing turned out to be a very loose driveshaft. I suspect all the vibration loosened some gunk in the fuel tank. It will also loosen lugnuts (don't ask how I found this out). Glenn |
