I have had two V-8 Bs.  One 72 chrome bumper and one 73 chrome bumper.  The 
72 had modified steering shaft, modified rack, etc, etc.  The 73 has a 77 
front end fitted onto the car from the cowl forward.  The difference is night 
and day.  The modified is just that, modified and a pain in the butt.  Having 
the right bits, (stock), and shapes is real nice!  Just a thought before you 
get too deep.
