I believe this gives you a clone to the Factory MGB-GT V-8 brakes. The
calipers actually use one side from the MGB and one side from the Triumph.
This gives you a caliper with a wider slot to allow the use of the 1/2"
thick nonventilated Factory MGB-GT V-8 brake rotors. Be aware that you need
to replace the square section O-ring seal and the securing bolts if you
separate calipers and reassemble them.

page 90 an upgrade to brakes using Triumph 2000/2500 calipers. Has anyone
done this and with what results?
