Jack, there was a discussion on the MG list about cruise control maybe a year
ago. Someone said the J.C. Whitney unit worked just fine.
There was also mention of a unit (JC Whitney??) that senses pulses from your
coil so there is no need for magnets on the driveshaft. Also no need for a
clutch switch as the unit instantly senses any "quick" changes in rpm and will
turn off with a change in rpm over a predetermined amount.
Having said all this I have no first hand knowledge, just passing on what was
discussed on the list. Maybe we'll get some new input.
