Jim, I don't know about the V8 specifically, but on a 4 cylinder gaskets are not typically symmetric. The obvious answer is try dry fitting the the gaskets to see which way they'd go to get all the appropriate holes to line up.... Or am I being too simplistic? Jim >There is no mention of which surface goes to the block. Absent any >better info, I would put the metal side to the smoothest surface. |
