Hi again V8ers,

Used part hunting today here in Baton Rouge.

A question on the radiator for a V8 conversion. I went and looked at a
used radiator in a 78 B today. Glen Towery had told me to make sure that I
get a factory original, continuous fin radiator (better cooling
characteristics - needed for the V8 engine). The radiator in the car
looked real good, but the left hand two thirds of the fins were oriented in
one direction (horizontal) and the right hand one third another direction
(vertical). To me this means the fins are not continuous. Am I right ?
Should I steer clear of this radiator and keep searching for a continuous
fin radiator ?

The late TR 7 5 speed transmission and bell housing looked good and now
they're mine.

My parts guy also has front and rear 5/8 " sway bars that I was planning on
putting on to improve the handling. Is this one of the upgrades that's
"necessary" to make the car handle properly - no sway bar originally on a
75 B.

Thanks for all the reply's so far !

Safety Fast-er in a V8,

Rick
