Whether brake drums, or wire wheel hubs, just push them back on.
Front axle is tapered, so should go on most of the way.
You can finish up installation by driving on the remainder of the way
with the axle nut.
Left (off) side of car has left hand threaded axle nut.
Right (near) side of car has right hand threaded axle nut.
