Blair, I would still look for an air leak on the inlet side of the pump. If the pump was chattering away with the two valves stuck closed. With the valves stuck closed the pump had to be sucking air or it would have stalled after one or two clicks. The other possibility is that there was some debris in the valves holding them open, which would also result in the pump chattering without pumping anything. Cheers, Dave |
