MGA r&p conversion

Good morning list,

We're debating replacing the stock r&p in my TD with MGA gears during the
coming winter lay-up.

Carl Cederstrand's manual seems to be the standard reference; is there any
advice out there from those who have done this themselves?  Just how much
machine-shop work is required?
