In the August 2005 issue of TSO, Pete Engel, #11805, wrote that 1/4"
ID x 1/16" thick O-rings did the trick for him. As one of my carbs was
leaking, I tried the O-ring. Leak was as copious as with the cork gland.
I then tried cork gland w new cup washers. Leak continued. I then
replaced washers #370-220, 295-000, 370-410. It's still damp, but the
drip drip drip has ceased.
My suggestion is that if you are going to the effort to change cork
glands or O-rings, replace the washers also.
