hello
have recently seen a discussion on the board about rebuilding master
cylinders..i too was in the same predicament recently (pitted and worn) and
tried all sorts of rebuilding/sleeving/honing...and most importantly worrying
of the dependability of an unengineered repair on the most crucial part of my
car..then my children asked when the car would be done for a cruise..........
I then, and gratefully purchased immediately a brand new lockheed master
cylinder for i believe 250+/- dollars (the better one as original fitting)
fitted it and enjoy the safety of sure quick certain stopping every time. I
used Castrol's(special blend) brake fluid for safe preservation of the natural
seals.
