Brush painting

Is anyone familiar with brush painting a car using coach enamel
(Tekaloid is one brand, apparently not available in U.S.)  as used to be
common practice in the U.K.  Anyone know of U.S. distributors for coach
enamels, correct brushes, etc.?  Thanks
