Just a bit of info for those of you outside of North America who have
fitted, or are thinking of fitting, one of Bob Grunau's fine little spin on
oil filter adapters, as I have done.
The filter Bob recommends is the FRAM PH 3600. This filter is not common in
New Zealand, and possibly other countries. So after a fair amount of cross
chat between myself, Bob and the very helpful FRAM agent in NZ we arrived at
the FRAM PH 2825, which is common here. This filter is slightly bigger,
which is good, has an anti drain valve - but no a bypass valve, but this
does not matter as there is one in the TD oil pump head.
