Terry,

As far as the material between radiator and U-bracket, I would guess that it
is only rusted and sponged steel. When dismantling my TD radiator, I
believed that I would find some sort of felt, too, but after taking it
completely to pieces, there was nothing but rusted metal. I have some
pictures of the U-bracket, in case you would need them.

Gents, I've obtained a rebuilt radiator for my TF1500.  Thanks Dave.  I see 
that at the bottom between the radiator and the U shaped mounting bracke is 
some sort of ?felt, asbestos, tar paper?  Some of it is missing.  is it 
important?  I don't see it in the Moss catalog.  Also, was there a spare
parts list 
just for the TF??

This TF seems to have a water branch pipe with a plug that screws into the 
elbow perhaps for a heater connection......was this standard on the TF?
