Question: What's normal engine compression for a stock TD. I tested mine with
the engine slightly warm, throttle open and came up with, front to rear; 110,
115, 100, 100. Squirted a few shots of oil in each cylinder and got: 160,
165, 160, 125. I suspect a weak valve in number four but the engine runs
fine and spark plugs all looked normal. A check about 4000 miles ago showed
about the same.
