Bill,
Moss sells some eight spoke alloys that look like old American mags from
the 1960s that will bolt right on. Various styles and sizes to fit
Triumphs, MGs and Healeys.

Long ago, there was an MG guy that was making faux twin-cam wheels out of
modified wire wheel hubs and stock MG steel wheels - I met a guy in santa
barbara who had 5 on his MGTD that had been converted to B disc brakes and
rear end to go with the Volvo B1800 powertrain. Looked great on that car so
should also look great on a Mog.

Unless there is a real desire for this look, the Moss mags would probably
work better and cost less than the custom built units. Why not real
twin-cam wheels???

I'm also CCing this to the MG lists - can anyone out there in MG land help
Bill?????

cheers,
