Bill,
The pointed fuses are German, used on VW, BMW, Porsche, etc. British
(Lucas) fuses are the glass tubes with metal ends. Yes, they do have a
paper slip inside the glass. BTW, British fuses are rated differently
than American fuses. I don't recall the specifics, but I think a 15 amp
British fuse would be a 38 amp slow blow fuse. I may have the numbers
wrong, but I know they are different.
