Have you located the front hub washers you require? If not, forward your
address and I would be pleased to send you a pair, gratis, along with their
companion felt washers.
As you recognize, these sealing washers were fitted to early TDs. I kept
them fitted to my TD for 6 months in the middle 50s and then converted to
the later front brake drums. These later brake drums employ proper sealing
cups. The sealing cups retain grease satisfactorily.
I couldn't tolerate the grease that was thrown out from that 'mickey mouse'
front-hub washer arrangement. You can have them, I don't want them,
they're no good for me. I kept them around as illustrations for lectures
on engineering problems associated with T-Series.
