Ron:

1)  The throttle return spring attaches to the throttle lever in
the hole at the end where the push/pull rod attaches.  The spring
goes on the inner hole and the rod goes on the outer hole.  The
bracket goes under the upper starter mounting bolt.

2) Both pipes are 26 inches long before being soldered into the
banjo union which attaches to the top of the float bowl.  On my
TD, the pipes route through a P clip attached to the carb side of
the front engine plate using the lower engine mounting bolt.

3)  Use oil, and not grease in the lubricator.  The shop manual
is in error.  The bushing is soaked in oil before installation
and all later MG generators specify oil.  Use of grease will
greatly shorten the life of the bushing.  See my article in the
TSO several years back.
