Synching carbs

        I was looking at one of my manuals on doing tune ups, and I see a Uni 
Sync 
for matching the flow between the two carbs.  I remember using one of these 
thirty years ago.  On my 1978 BMW motorcycle I use an electronic vacuum 
gage to let me know when the two carbs are performing the same.  Is there 
some way to hook up a vacuum reading device to a SU carb?  It is a lot 
easier to read a constant gauge then move the Uni Sync back and forth.
