Ronald, If you are going for originality, you will need to aluminize the manifold. This is according to Chip Old in the T Series Handbook. If you are not concerned with originality, coat the manifold with whatever you want. If you do aluminize the manifold, you may find that you will have some problems with vapor lock in the channel between the float bowl and the jet int eh carb body. If you run into this problem it can be cured with a heat shield that is made for the Austin Mini. Good luck, Dave |
