Bob... This is a simple one, but check to make sure that there is oil in the dash pots of your SU Carbs. If the oil is low, the piston jumps up too fast and leans out the mixture for a second causing a momentary hesitation. Also make sure the mechanical advance in the distributor is lubricated and moves smoothly. A little rust or corrosion can hamper its movement. Craig Carragan 53 MGTD 50 Jaguar Mk V |
