Thank you Peter. I've got two CJR3's here, one with a black base (NOS)
which I understand means it is post war and another core that is brown base
dated
12/33. It must have sat in water for a long time as the screws in it have
rusted in such a manner that they have mushroomed out and are impossible to
remove. The steel in the screws has pealed into layers like an onion! I don't
know if I will ever be able to recover that one.
Another question for you, what have folks been doing up until now about the
silentbloc bushings for the gearbox mount? I would have guessed that someone
would have come up with a substitute or had them remade long before now. I
understand that Terry Andrews is working on a replacement now.
