I doubt if you will find torque numbers for any British cars 70 plus years
old, it simply was not used on a regular basis back then.

Many of us have developed our own tables over time to answer questions such
as yours, but you're not likely to find them published - our litigious
society prohibits it. My references are based on the quality of the bolts
and their nuts that are used.

The studs used on your PA cylinder head were brand new and sold to you as a
set, though not a very good one! The tapped holes in the block were all
cleaned and checked and the studs installed with a little Loctite and
torqued to 32 lb.ft. When finally installed the nuts were torqued to
35 lb.ft., a number I have found to be adequate for this service with this
quality of stud.
