Lawrie, Pip & list I have little knowledge of the practical aspect of supercharging, but I am familiar with S.U. carbs. 1 TURN per 1000 ft of altitude seems like a lot of change. For some of the mountain passes I've been over you'd run out of turns before you got to the top! Possibly 1 FLAT per 1000 ft.??
