Don & Bob,
While I haven't seen these get stripped before - you're right, Bob, it could
happen. All is the same as TC and I nearly ALWAYS replace the front cross
tube with new as it's a very important part of the front geometry -
relatively inexpensive, and, when new, provides a nice tight fit at the ends
and is straight and true. tommm
