Oscillith bush
<<<snip>>>
Oscillation, to oscillate, vibrate, move around a center
>From Latin oscillare, from oscillum, a swing, originally a mask of
Bacchus hung from a tree in a vineyard to wing in the wind. (as a
charm), diminutive of os, face, mouth.
I would say that it's a rubber bush molded between two steel sleeves
which would allow the catch to swing up and down as the TD's catch
does. The TD's parts book has a "bush-catch plate 7H9920" for the
"Catch plate."
