In disassembly of my PB Airline central lubrication system, I have found
that on almost every oil pipe there are various amounts of orange paint.
There is almost no orange paint on any other part of the car or chassis.

Now I know that the car has suffered some indignities over the years,
but this car has been virtually untouched for 40 years. Has anyone else
seen such a thing? Is there some significance to this? Or have I a car
which some teenager in the 30s decided to tart up? (Remember, this is a
car which someone chrome plated many brake and suspension parts many
years ago, including brake drums and levers, tie rods, backing plates,
  and the like.)
