Having seen this car up close, I'd say its definitely a FAKE and Tom shuld
dump it (to me) as fast as he can!! ;-)
Now, how about that L1 on the cover of Griot's catalog? This is the verbage:
About our very special cover car:
1933 MG "L" Magna K-Spec.
This was MG's most famous race car. She's powered by an 1100cc, super
charged engine with a Marshall 85 blower. This car can reach 130 mph! Can
you imagine that speed on thise tiny tires? Hi-tech for the time-- she
featured hydraulic, 13" K3 drum brakes (duh!?!). The MG K-Spec cars broke
record after record...........
Real or fake? Well it has its hood up on the inside cover so I guess its a
real race car!
