Dear listers

I am 'in the process' of acquiring a correct horn for my P-type MG. I know
that an Altette is correct for the car, but I have some photos of the car
when only a couple of years old and the horn in the pictures is, I think,
not the same as the one shown in factory photographs (and I would rather get
the sort shown in these photos). In any case I would like to educate myself
in these matters so I know how to recognise the correct horn when I see it.
I understand that at some time 'Safety Fast' and the Octagon Car Club mag
and 'The Sacred Octagon' have carried an article (written by Lynn Isaac?)
which details all the twenty-something different types of Altette, complete
with drawings etc.
I wonder if anyone can point me to where I might find this, or, even better,
be able to supply a copy...

Many thanks

PS Does anyone have a spare 4 star 8/43 P-type differential they could sell
me??
