Hi Dave,
As Bob says, 1 1/2 thou (0.04mm) will give you good result while I did mine
in 0.03mm, which shows 85LB oil pressure when idling in cold (relief valve
starts working at 90LB).

Dave,
The standard I have always used on MMM engines is 1 1/2 thou' for each inch
of journal diameter for regular use and 2 thou' if you're going to race it.
Yet to have a failure!
