Thanks all those who have so far put in on this subject. Unfortunately, the
conundrum just deepens. I would refer the interested parties to Anders
Clausager's "The original T series" page 57. The body plate ....... was
B.269 (1936-37 TAs with narrow wings) B.270 (1937-39 TAs with wide rear
wings and TBs) B.278 (TA and TB Tickford coupes) or B.280 TCs......the body
numbers for TA ran from 100 to 1090.... . This is then somewhat at odds to
Terry's and Patrick's numbers. Any one else with any thoughts??? Logically
one would have thought that N types would therefore have body type numbers
earlier to 269 but then maybe the four seaters had latter numbers.
