The body can stand high G forces but for only a very short duration. If the
G forces act over a longer time then the ability to withstand them becomes
greatly reduced.

This is an interesting subject. I don't have any direct LSR experience to
contribute but it reminds me that NFL football players experience
instantaneous impacts of 75 g or so.
Wonder what g-forces Bronko Nagurski experienced when he decked a horse or
ran head first into that wall and cracked some bricks.
