I have been asked how the voting for the Hall of Fame is done. Here are the
guide lines. Doug Odom in big ditch

Procedure for Election of Dry Lakes Racing Hall of Fame Inductees:

In the spring of each year (March/April) a Ballot will be mailed to all the
current living Hall of Fame Members, all SCTA Clubs, the SCTA Board, the USFRA
Club, the ECTA and the Bonneville 200 MPH Club.

Each Hall of Fame member will fill out his Ballot to his preference and each
Club will solicit their Club members so as to compile the votes for the Club
Ballot. If there is a person or vehicle you feel should be inducted the GCR&R
Club advise that you contact other Hall of Fame members and other associated
clubs to solicit their votes.

Each BALLOT is embossed with the Gold Coast Roadster & Racing Club Official
Seal and only these Ballots will be counted. It is important that the votes
are listed in order of preference; Example Entry #1 is worth six points, #2 is
five points and so on to #6 at one point.

The completed Ballots are returned to the Gold Coast R&R Club in an envelope
with the word Ballot on the back no later than the date listed on the Ballot.
All Ballots are tallied by a group of GCR&R members under the President's
supervision and direction following strict guidelines. The nominees with the
most votes in each category become the Inductee.

(Note: The vehicle Inductees must be able to be on display at the event to
receive the award. If unable to be present, the vehicle with the next highest
number of votes is contacted.)
