I'm setting up the 2.29 gears in my Strange dropout 12 bolt . As anybody who
has run a dropout with 2 series gears knows , to get the pinion out you need
to remove the front bearing and cock it to one side which means you need a
slip fit bearing . Precision Gear sells what they call set up bearings that
slip on . Would one of these work as the front bearing of Should I clearance
my Timken bearing ?
