If Viagra gave me 1/10 of what they gave Dick Trickle, I'd be their Ho and
run every LSR event world wide.
As for totaling the investment for a $ @ MPH, between the IRS, THE WIFE, and
that spark of logic that resides in a distant corner of my brain, I think
there are very few of us that care to know or share.
My personal observation is most of the guys on this list and in LSR in
general are in automotive related businesses, which makes it financially
convenient to participate in LSR. They also have the machinery at hand and the
manual
and physical skills to build the cars.
I, on the other hand, am one of those schmucks with limited machinery,
limited knowledge of the type of vehicle I chose to race, but with a long ago
planned strategy to scrimp up a fund to finance my project.
This is what I chose to do, and every little victory is sweeter as I am
literally HANDicapped (bad pun) by these circumstances, and living 630 miles
from
ECTA and 2300 from The Salt.
