Otto,
>Has anybody noticed when ANYBODY comes up with a new way of doing things,
>it
gets attacked on all fronts with a persons personal agenda.<
I have heard some criticism, but I have a some "Amens", also. No reason to
get torqued and make disparaging remarks about the "Good Old Boys" who by
the way do the work to put this event on. I could say, "Why do all the
"newbees" think that they have all the answers?" We have been doing this
pretty much the same for many years and the attendance still keeps growing.
It must be working!
Seriously, we can all learn from each other. We don't have to be in
agreement with everything that comes down the pike, however. I would be one
of the first to say that just because it has been tried and didn't work,
doesn't mean that at some point it won't work. I hang my hat on doing what
others have determined won't work.
Personally, I don't particularly like to sit in line and bake my brains, but
if that is what it takes to get my one run a day. I will do it! If there is
a better way without raising the cost of running, then let's try it. Let's
all be patient, we haven't gotten where we are overnight. It may take a bit
of time to make the need improvements.
