Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually that look was riveted on my face during the first two runs with the
frame bottoming out and 20# of air in the rear tires. I strongly considered
changing the cars name from Ankle Biter to Nail Biter!!!
I jacked up the front torsion bar 1 1/2" and put 55#'s in the rears and the
car actually, "mostly" went straight, until I hit a rut or soft spot! The salt
is VERY humbling. I figure if I kept the car from spinning with the adverse
setup I initially ran, that says a lot about the stability of the 235"
wheelbase car.
The next time I run I'll have the right gear in the rear end, jump the
compression from the present 11.9-1 to 14-1 and probably run EFI instead of a
carb. I've already "warned" Charlie Markley. He wasn't too worried!!! LOL
