Tubby runs a Flathead Ford V-8. It is a true 1948 which allows it to run in
Vintage classes.
This not ture of the 47/48 Crosleys which run with the modern vehicles.
The 49 and newer Hudsons of both styles have held records in the past but first
Studebakers then Monza, amd Camaro/Firebirds have surpassed their
accomplisments. Currently a Chevrolet 6 in a 50's stlye fast back hold the
record in production.
If I'm not mistaken a rear engine modified roadster with Hudson power is
entered for 2006

>The Tubby Racing #425 entry last year was a 1948 Hudson body ... no
>idea where they are from however.
