Hi DickJ You can tell the 8" from the 9" by looking at the carrier mounting bolts below the pinion bearing assembly. If you can get to the lower mounting bolt for the carrier with a long socket, it's an 8". If it takes a box end wrench to get under the pinion housing to get the bolt off, it's a 9". Not sure what the other codes are. Probably application, width, brake size, etc. You are correct in assuming the ratio is 2.79. Otto |
