Bob;
On Friday evening Joline and I took her sister and her husband who were
visiting from Nashville to see "The World's Fastest Indian". We all
enjoyed it tremendously-- it far exceeded our expectations. It was a
tour-de force for Anthony Hopkins; his characterization of Burt Munro
deserves an Oscar nomination.
Yes, there were a few minor technical gaffs but overall, it was very
well done and seeing those old streamliners was a real treat. It was a
thoroughly "nice" movie.
I hope Bonneville won't be overrun in August by people who have seen the
movie and are curious to see what LSR is all about. On the other hand,
maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing-- what does everyone think?
Regards, Neil Tucson, AZ

So, has anybody seen "The World's Fastest Indian" ?
I had to drive way across county to a nasty little old "Theater" to see
it,
as even here in suburban NY the showings are few and far between. I
guess they
have their investment income tied to DVD's or cable.
I think everybody on this list will like it, plus AARP types and most
speed
channel denizens.( or are those all the same people, )
Without giving away any of the "plot", I have a few observations and
questions.
As in a reference to " he don't even have a Firesuit ", for a Bike guy
, by
a "SCTA Tech" guy. Where was the tech advisor dude on that ?
There was also another "SCTA" guy asking questions with the name tag
"Glen".
Was that ?
Do I get to the top of "was that?" guy's pit pester list if it were
him ?
Either way, make the trip, any Salt scenery belongs on a big screen..
