It is my impression that Aluminum rods fail due to tension loads, usually.
Like backing into a corner at Eldora. Not much of that at Bonneville, with
luck. I have used Bill Miller rods and found them fine, however I have also
used Crower steel rods and found them finer. If I was buying rods today I
would be calling Crower. RF
