Dzus Length

Ok, how do I tell what the grip length of a DZUS fastener should be? The 
panel to be dzused is 0.080 inches thick. Grip lengths in the catalog 
are all the way from 0.400 to 0.650.   Catalog also says the springs are 
0.375 tall. Guessing that the weld tabs are 0.063 thick. So do I add all 
that together to get grip length? If so that totals 0.518 inches...do I 
use 0.0500 grip 0r 0.550 grip or what?
